Every year, the new season of swim kicks off with Miami Swim Week. Brands showcase everything from sandals and accessories to swimwear and coverups. Anything swim-related is guaranteed to be there! Essentially, it is a chance for brands to debut their lines for the upcoming season, scope out new industry trends, and connect with new and existing customers. Here are some of our favorite places and moments from this year's Miami Swim Week. 
Favorite place to shop: Bal Harbour Shops
Favorite place to stay: Loews Miami Beach Hotel
Favorite party to attend: We had so much fun at Paula Danza's SoHo House penthouse party. Paula is the talented designer and owner of Lumé Swimwear. She uses original paintings and turns them into prints for her swimwear. Her passion for travel and giving back blends beautifully with Helen Jon!
Favorite place to eat: PAUL (the French Café on Lincoln Road) was our stop every morning! They have amazing aromatic coffee, the freshest produce for salads, and divine blueberry and peach tarts. We highly recommend!
Favorite parts of the show: Spending time with both our new and returning customers. There is nothing better than hearing how excited they are about the new season and our new products. Their feedback is invaluable! Their comments give us great ideas on how to enhance our prints and silhouettes.
Helen Jon pieces to watch: Swim silhouettes - People were buzzing about our new floating underwire tankini and floating underwire one piece. They are like the little black dress of swim! They look stunning AND are so comfortable. The floating underwire silhouette is truly a fit that is made to flatter. Cover ups - Our striking sleeveless kimono is a real show stopper! Every time our model put it on, the buyers couldn't wait to order it and people walking by took a second glance!
Favorite new brand: We are in love with Mishky! Her bracelets are amazing. The intricate bead patterns are like beautiful prints. We loved them so much, we had to purchase a few bracelets for ourselves and our daughters.
We had a blast at Miami Swim Week 2017 and can't wait for next year! Be on the lookout for our new line that will begin to launch October 1st.
