Why are dads so much harder to shop for than moms?
It’s a perennial issue for many of us. Whereas a Helen Jon gift card would satisfy and delight just about any of us, it’s always trickier to find just the right thing for our guys. We asked Helen Jon co-founder, Gwyn Prentice, what her husband Andy wanted for Father’s Day. She went right to the source...and asked Andy what tops his list for Father’s Day this year.
See below for his pretty great ideas.

Masterbuilt Electric Smoker. Andy loves his barbecue, and this smoker takes it to a whole new level.
Coasters or mouse pad of favorite animal’s portrait. Cisco is more than man’s best friend, he's Andy's! Turning a photo of the family’s Mastiff into coasters or a mouse pad is an awesome way to bring a little fun into an otherwise utilitarian object. Beer steins, travel mugs, playing cards, and aprons are other options.
Vilebrequin swim trunks. Andy's favorites are the solid ones, and he loves their white terry polo shirts too.
Smathers and Branson needlepoint belt. These belts are great and, with so many different styles and themes from which to choose, you can handpick the perfect one for the Dad in your life. Andy has his eye on the offshore fishing one.
Joe’s Kansas City BBQ from Goldbelly. Born and raised in Kansas City, Andy knows a thing or two about great barbecue. Joe’s Kansas City, located in an old gas station, turns out some of the world’s best BBQ. And, the best part, it can be shipped anywhere in the U.S. And, if BBQ isn’t your jam, check out the incredible variety of restaurants on Goldbelly that you can send to just about anywhere.
His favorite Tumi suitcase – double expansion! He loves it and never packs more than what will fit inside.

And...just because it’s way more fun to share the love, maybe a Helen Jon gift card to give to yours truly.
Happy Father’s Day!
